January in Maine

So here I am in frozen Maine thinking about how I need to train for the Big Ride that starts in Seattle on June 17th. Today it’s near zero outside so another day on the rollers is the only way to get some miles in. So why does an aging dentist like me want to ride across the country on his bike? Mostly, I have always had this goal to do this ride and finally I have figured out a way to make it happen. My sincerest thanks to all my colleagues at Willow Run Dental for working out a schedule that will work for our office and for me. I could never do this without you guys! So now I just need to ride about 3000 miles before I leave for the West Coast and hope that I will be in good enough shape to make it across America. I begin my journey thanking all that are supporting me , both at home(Sara,Kelsey & Maggie) and everywhere else. I love you all!
